PHEV of a new generation
The new PHEV powertrain is built around a combination of advanced components. It features a 1.5-liter turbo engine optimized for hybrid performance, boasting a remarkable 43% thermal efficiency and delivering 143 hp. The powertrain also includes a high-output EV motor that provides 135 kW (183 hp), ensuring strong acceleration in both EV and hybrid modes.
Additionally, a robust generator supplies 110 kW (150 hp) to power the EV motor efficiently. To maintain optimal engine performance, a lightweight two-speed gearbox is integrated, while a 24.7 kWh battery, one of the largest in its class, offers an impressive range of over 120 km in electric mode.
Dynamic exterior design
The horizontal design of the side profile gives the vehicle a sense of strength, while the floating pillar accentuates the dynamic roofline. Thanks to a wide grille topped with sharp, technological LED headlamps, the new MG HS PHEV captivates with its elegance.
Premium interior atmosphere
The new MG HS PHEV has been designed to offer exceptional interior space for all passengers. The horizontal, symmetrical layout of the dashboard creates a real sense of space.
The use of soft materials and precise assembly bring a high level of perceived quality. All details, such as the gear-lever and 3-spoke steering wheel, are carefully crafted using high-quality materials.
Passive safety - has not been overlooked, with the inclusion of 7 airbags. These feature a central front airbag that provides protection for both the driver and passenger. The overall structure incorporates over 70% high-strength steel to ensure maximum protection.
360° camera - Parking spots and narrow streets are no hassle with the 360° camera. Four HD wide-angle cameras provide an all-around view, while ultrasonic sensors alert you to obstructions. Additionally, dynamic reversing assist helps you park at the perfect angle.
